FALL BIBLE STUDY will start on Wednesday, September 27th at 7 p.m.


LOVEFEAST & COMMUNION will be on Sunday, October 1st at 7 p.m.


CAMP BLUE DIAMOND CANOE TRIP will be on October 7th at 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The Little Juniata River: Spruce Creek to Petersburg. Cost is $15 per person. Registration deadline is October 1st. For more information check out the flyer on the bulletin board in the entrance way.


HEARTS & HANDS WOMEN’S DINNER CONFERENCE

for women 18 yrs. & over (sorry, no children). When: Friday, October 20th, 2017, 6:00 PM for Dinner in the Family Life Center… 7:15 PM: Topic – “Laughter: Our opportunity to heal” Author/Speaker: Cherie Nettles. Where: Pine Glen CMA Church. Cost: $14.50 for meal / SEATING IS LIMITED Reservation Deadline – Sunday, October 8th, 2017. Menu: Broccoli & Cauliflower Salad, Smoked Beef Brisket, Mashed Potatoes w/gravy, Baked Pineapple. Dessert Options: Lemon Glazed Cake, Cherry pie, White Chocolate Raspberry Cheese tarts. Cherie Nettles is described as a knee-slapping, belly-laughing, people magnet. She draws her life experience to teach her audiences that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, and places her focus on the Truth of Proverbs 17:22 “Laughter is medicine to your soul.” From over-coming an abusive childhood, being diagnosed in her teens with a crippling disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and being a 14-year ovarian cancer survivor, she learned quickly that sorrow brings sickness while joy brings healing. Cherie has co-authored several books, written her own story, plus has written for multiple publications. She has 2 wonderful adult children and lives in West Columbia, SC with her husband Mike.


ATTENTION! There will be a Soup Sale on Saturday, October 21st. Pick up between Noon – 1 p.m. Cost will be $6 per quart. The choices of soups will be Ham & Bean, Chicken Noodle, Vegetable, and Chicken Corn. We will be doing something new! There will be no advance orders First come, first serve Basis!


DURING THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER, we will be collecting coloring books, colored pencils, and scissors.  These items will be placed in the "Christmas Shoe Boxes" in November.  Thank you for supporting this outreach.  Tote is by the coat rack.  - Sarah Esh

REMINDER: There is a church ministry, coordinated by the Deacons, to help church members. If you know of someone who is sick or has been hospitalized and would like help with meal preparation etc., please contact Gloria Goss at 899-7749.
